Kory and Charisse

Okay, okay, hopefully Kory and I are back in the blogging world. Ever since we moved into our apartment, being the cheapskates that we are, we have been getting our internet off of a business in one corner of our apartment. Then suddenly a few weeks ago the internet stopped working!! It was disastrous! However, now, after much persuasion, we have received the password for the internet from a neighbor.

Another high point in our lives right now is the purchase of a new camera. As you all know our camera broke at Disneyland-not a good time for a camera to eat the dust! Finally after weeks of reading about cameras and going to oh so many stores with cameras in them Kory decided he felt secure enough to buy one we had been looking at. So now you can all look at pictures from our lives too.

One last exciting thing in our lives right now is...our new scooter! We actually purchased it in April but I have been banned to write anything about it until Kory got up the nerve to tell his mother. We were trying to survive on one car but with both of us working in entirely different directions we decided we needed something. We looked at junky cars forever but once again, with our stingy ways we did not want to pay the insurance on another car (especially with Kory's history with tickets). Kory really wanted a motorcycle but I envisioned him strewn across the freeway so we compromised and got something cheaper that wouldn't reach the speeds to go on super fast roads. And yes to our mothers whom I know are wondering-he always, always wears a helmet.

This investment has been great on gas prices with our 80 miles to the gallon we rarely have to fill up and when we do it has been very cheap although Kory was very upset yesterday when it cost him $5 to fill up. This has been fun for both of us to go for rides on. Now our only concern is what to do in the winter...Well that is about it in our lives right now. Now that we have internet again we will have to do more exciting things so we actually have something to blog about! I hope everybody has a most fabulous week!
