Our first adventure we are going to share with you is our amazing day of babysitting! (I know, you are thinking, "Are they really going to blog about BABYSITTING!?" and my answer is yes, actually, we are.) Back in the day when Heather and Brian were having all of their buying a house troubles and the house that was supposed to work fell through, we were called to come to the rescue. Luckily, Kory had that day off of work. When Heather warned it would be an all day adventure we really started worrying. We can only play Barbies and tag so long before we are about to go crazy so we started thinking of some fun things we could do with them all day. Our lack of creative minds led us to think of...the park. We knew we were doomed! Then Heather called with some wonderful ideas and the adventure began!
Meg and Adin arrived and immediately began playing tag and hide and seek around the house. Within an hour Kory was extremely worn out so we made a fabulous lunch of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese!!! We had to bribe Meg with promises of a movie and telling her twice to eat ten BIG girl bites, and of course the macaroni was not good enough for Adin so he ended up eating a peach yogurt. After eating lunch we strapped the kids into the car (that alone took a half hour out of our day!) and headed to the dollar theater to watch Horton Hears a Who. The movie
was very bright and exciting and lucky for us it also played during Adins nap time so he slept the entire movie long. After half the popcorn was in Meg's stomach and the other half on the floor we
headed out of the movie for more wonderful adventures. After changing into swimsuits and running a few errands Kory and I had to get done we headed to the Gateway Mall to play in the spraying sidewalks. Both Meg and Adin were very apprehensive about playing on a sidewalk that sporatically
sprayed them. After seeing them spray a few times and with Kory out running through them Meg was all gun-ho about the idea. Adin, on the other hand, felt the need to explore by putting his face right up to one of the circles on the sidewalk until he was sprayed right in the face. Needless to say, it took awhile to get him out there again and would eventually only go if Kory went with him. This was sadly the end of our adventures for the day. Heather and Brian were able to find a house and get back earlier than planned. Our all day adventure ended up only being about 7 hours, but for two "newlyweds" that suddenly inherited two kids for a day it was enough to wear us out!

We also took a trip to Idaho to see Kory's sister Kami's new house and although we brought the camera we only remembered to take one picture! Since it is so cute I could not resist putting it on! We had a great time in Idaho and came back just a tad better at guitar hero then we were before! (If you can bring yourself to believe that!)

I was sure I posted to tell you how much I liked the picture! But I'll do it again. I really like the manly picture of Kory, and I'm jealous that you get to spend all that time with Meg and Adin!!! I miss my nieces and nephews! I love to hear about them!
Charisse! What a fabulous blog! I love hearing all the stuff that is going on. I can't wait to see all of you in a few weeks. Tell Kory the flowers do not detract from his manliness. It just shows what a sensitive guy he is.
Love, MOM
Dang! You have a super cute niece and nephew. What a lucky girl you are. Thanks for watching them. You're seriously the best. I veto what Mom said about the flowers and Kory's manliness. They definately take away from his manliness. If I were him I would be doing everything I could to not only to get that picture off this blog but to completely obliterate it. Man....how embaressing.;0)
BORING!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't you blog about something? Making dinner, your music choice, laffy taffy jokes...anything!!
