It is always so sad when summer comes to an end. Even though our lives won't change too much since Kory went to school in the summer too it still seems sad to have the season drawing to a close. We had one last trip to finish our summer out with a big bang. A trip to the beautiful Bear Lake with the Call family. It was so much fun! Because of school and work schedules we were only able to go up Friday and come home Saturday night, however, that was enough time to have a wonderful time and wish we could stay up there for a few more days. We arrived and played at the lake for a little while and then we went on an adventure on banana bikes.
These were fun! The steering was completely done with the hips and body. We had a few races and got a good workout.
The next day we hiked around some mountains to a really pretty lake.
Yes, that is snow in the background if that gives you any idea of how cold the water is. There was a huge tree with a long rope tied to it that people swing on out into the lake. Kory and I each took our turn. It was a lot of fun and quite a shock when you hit the water. Don't miss the great video!
This was such a fun camping trip. Kory and I have decided we are going to make Bear Lake a regular vacation spot every year!

YEA!!!! I'm so glad you updated! But I expect you to have another one next week. I like the video! Didn't you get one too Charisse? I would really enjoy seeing you go into freezing cold water. Looks like you had a blast.
That looks like so much fun! We are going to have to go there. I cannot believe you jumped into that lake. I must be getting old because that doesn't sound fun at all to me. I think there may have been a day that I would have done that, but I would have been a major bummer.
Love the post, glad to see your having fun. I think I am jealous of everyone right now. I would love to get away like that.
