5 Years and Santa

Clear back in November Kory and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! For years I have been telling Kory that he got to plan the grand event every 5 years. He did not disappoint. We celebrated it the day after Thanksgiving which included Black Friday! We shopped away our morning and then sent Boston away with Grandma and Grandpa. That was hard!!! We went to see James Bond-like I said, Kory was planning, :-) Out for a delicious dinner and on to stay at the Black Swan Inn in Pocatello. It was a wonderful celebration! Sometimes I can't believe it has been 5 whole years and other times it seems like we have been together forever. I love Kory so much and I am so excited we have eternity together! I cannot imagine my life without him!

SANTA

I was bound and determined to have Boston sit on Santa's lap this year. Our ward doesn't have Santa come to the ward party so that was out. There was an amazing Santa at the mall in Maryland when we went to stay for a week in December, but they wanted $50 for pictures with him and no personal pictures allowed!! I will admit I was sorely tempted-I have never seen such a good Santa!! It came down to our local mall Santa.   Kory was soooo worried about letting him sit on Santas lap. He was convinced he should stay right by him and maybe even just hold him the whole time. I tried to convince him the whole 30 minutes in line that it would be okay and we wouldn't be more than 5 feet away the whole time. I don't know how I won out at the end but we were able to get a picture without Kory hovering!
