All Hallows Eve!! (2013)

*Originally written November of 2013!!

The most wonderfullest holiday of Halloween has come and gone again. We were asked this year to host a room at our ward party, basically just run a game in there, and this required us to be dressed up! I was soooo excited. I have never been able to get Kory to dress up before, and didn't know if I ever would in the future! I started searching online and found on a craft site I like to follow a costume she made for her little boy-a lumberjack! There wasn't much to it so I knew I would be able to convince Kory to do that costume. I followed her directions for a beard, borrowed some suspenders from Kory's dad, and searched DI for an old stick to make into an axe! It was so much fun to make and turned out really cool. All the kids at the ward party were sooooo jealous of Kory's axe.
For Boston Kory had the idea to do him as the old man from up. We made him the cutest walker out of pvc pipes and found old tennis balls to go on the ends, I was hoping he would walk with it but wasn't quite there yet. I also didn't get any pictures of him!! All in all they turned out so cute!
For myself I made myself a fairy skirt out of tulle, put on some tights, pink shirt, wings, crown and wand from all a dollar and was a fairy! It was so fun to make my costume. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of me either! We had a blast doing our game room and seeing all of the kids in their costumes. I am excited for next year when maybe Boston will get it a little bit better?!

So cute! Wish you had more pictures! Did you save the walker? I want to see it!
