My, oh my...

This has been a big week for us in school. We figured we should update everyone on what we are doing right now with work and school and where we are planning on eventually getting with it. Charisse is graduating with her Medical Assistant certificate on April 10th but will be going back to school in August to get her associates. Yes, she is 22 and just barely getting an Associates. She started her externship this week. Oh, what a joy. She is working at a Womens Center. Basically, she deals with pregnant women, or upset women who are in for their annuals or STD's. It's rather exciting to be working in a doctors office because I have always wanted to be working there. At this particular externship She does a lot of urine samples, finger sticks, vital signs, and assisting in minor surgeries. She is currently looking at different externships that she can split with this one because she would like to learn more skills and gynecology isn't really her thing.
Kory has just a few more classes at LDSBC and will then probably transfer to the University of Utah to finish his bachelors in Business Management. He would eventually like to go back and farm in Idaho. This was the best picture he has that looks even remotely farmish at the moment.

Right now he works full time at Wells Fargo as a banker. To those of you who don't know the difference (because I sure didn't) that means he opens accounts and does loans for people. He enjoys it, but is getting tired of sitting at a desk all day really fast. He definitely misses farming and being outdoors.

Another very depressing part of our week is we went to the dentist. Kory's Mouth-oo la la
It was a terrible experience and we came out of it with a total of 8 cavities. We won't tell you who had what.We hope everyone is doing great and just want to remind you all that we would love to see blogs and updated blogs from EVERYONE!!! Have a wonderful week!

I love the update. I can't believe you will be graduating in 10 days. Is that really right? Then how much longer till the associates?

I take no pity on your teeth woe's. Sorry. EVERYTIME I go to the dentist I end up with at least one root canal. Argh! Those are much more money than 8 cavities. Floss everyday. :0) (That's what they tell me anyways)
