Yea!! Kory and I are going to have a blog. I have no idea what we are going to put on this thing because I think our lives may be the definition of boring but at least we fully enjoy it, right? Last night was Sarah's (Charisse's sister) graduation and I figured every one would like to see some pictures of her in the big moment.

Sarah held up the whole graduation because she was late. She decided to go buy a head before the ceremony and the owner of the school was looking around frantically for her so they could start. Needless to say, the graduation started 10 minutes late.

Of course, when she wasn't up on the stand in front of everyone she was in the audience eating a burger and fries. I guess that is just Sarah. They made them all do question and answers and none of the girls wanted to be first. Finally the man who owns the school told Sarah she should go first since she is the vocal, outgoing one. Her question was: "What is your favorite service to provide and why?" Her answer was men's haircuts because they are easy. Then they took a moment and bragged about how they had 4 missionaries come in and Sarah was able to whip through them all with superb skill and results in less than an hour.

After they finished with the ceremony and slide show (which had many embarrassing pictures of Sarah) they made them all go to the schools "kitchen."

In the kitchen they got to choose a color of paint and put their hand prints on the wall with their names and the date they graduated.

Finally we got to the best part and that was the REFRESHMENTS. YUM!! They had an amazing carrot cake and some kind of juicey stuff that was really tasty. Kory snuck 3 pieces.

That is how amazing it was.

After it was over we took Sarah to Chili's and all shared a molten chocolate cake. This is her favorite dessert and the one she and Jon would always share. YUMMY!! The cake is truly to die for and one everyone should try in case they haven't yet.

All in all, it was a great experience and we are so proud of Sarah in finishing school. They said the hours she puts in at hair school eventually add up to just barely short of a bachelors program, so that is very exciting for her! Way To Go Sarah!! Now if we could only convince her to stay here...
Well I think that about finishes up my first ever blog. Hopefully I will find great and wonderful things to write and it can help us all keep in contact a little more!! To everyone reading I hope you have a marvelous day!!

Charisse, you are a doll. Thank you so much for doing this. I am so glad that you took pictures of Sarah's graduation since I couldn't be there. I love them and the comments.
I love you,
Love, MOM
LOOOOOOVE the blog!!!! I am so excited that you have one. I will literally be checking it daily so update it often. Plus you are super special because Mom commented on your blog. Lucky! You should go into your settings and allow anonymous comments. That way people (the not as cool ones) that don't have a blog account can still comment. Oh, and I wanted to have you pass along to Kory why you guys should go to Disneyland BEFORE kids. There are like 10 rides (some of the very best ones) that you can't take kids on. Brian and I miss being able to go on those rides together. You should get him there on a fun road trip. Anyways, I am babbling. LOVE the blog!

Where's the new post??? I keep checking and no new blog. I also think we need to get the rest of the family on board with posting comments on people's blogs. It helps you feel like people are actually looking.
Are you going to update anytime soon? I enjoy looking at your blogs and you need to keep doing them. Its how I keep updated with your lives!! I love you
