What a Busy Week!!

It has been a very eventful week. Mom came and picked up Sarah which was very fun while they were here but very depressing when they left. However, we hope they enjoy going back to Maryland. (I'm trying to be very optimistic.) After mom left we had the treat of having Kory's entire family come down for a Jon Schmidt concert. If anyone that hasn't ever had the opportunity gets the chance to go see Jon Schmidt in concert DO IT!!!! He is just as equally entertaining as he is talented. The concert was in Orem at the Scera theater. As soon as we saw the concert we all came back to our apartment and had a mini slumber party of sorts. I feel bad for the people beneath us but it was fun nonetheless. If anyone has ever been in our apartment you can imagine squeezing 9 people in it!!! After church i had the very daunting task of cooking them all lunch but with the famous white chili I feel it ended up being a success. To those of you with the recipe, try adding some sour cream to it, it makes the chili truly to die for. YUM!!!!! And those of you that don't have the recipe email me and i will give it to you. It is super easy and has just enough of a kick that it is addicting. I'm afraid it may become a running theme to talk about food in every one of my blogs but i can't help it! I adore food.

Sadly, after a very rousing game of pit, which may have all the apartments surrounding us either attacking us as we leave the apartment or moving out as soon as they can, his family had to make the long trip back to Idaho. It was so fun to have them here though!!! Now once again we have to get mentally ready to start another long week of school. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! And just a quick note to Andy-of course we read your blog and it is expected you update it frequently! It is so depressing to read the same thing week after week!!!
