Tag!
1.) I sleep with my legs crossed in the air. That is with my one leg bent up and the other ankle up on top of that knee. It isn't something I purposely do but I always wake up like that.
2.) I eat extremely slowly. Everybody is always waiting on me when they are done for at least 10 minutes. I try really hard to speed up in group situations.
3.) I cannot let others drive when I am in the car. I am positive they cannot handle the road as well as me and I have to be in control.
4.) I can't wear earrings, bracelets, necklaces, nail polishes, or my hair in any fancy fashion. It makes me feel way too girly and like everyone is staring at me.
5.) I absolutely love grocery shopping. There are so many options on the shelf to choose from and it is so fun to find certain ingredients for different meals.
6.) I hate when any of my toes get crossed. It is the most uncomfortable feeling in the entire world!
Whew! That was a hard feat!! I'm still trying to convince Kory to do it as well so hopefully that will be coming! My computer is currently not letting me upload our video from the BYU game so hopefully that will be coming soon!

Bear Lake!
These were fun! The steering was completely done with the hips and body. We had a few races and got a good workout. The next day we hiked around some mountains to a really pretty lake.
This was such a fun camping trip. Kory and I have decided we are going to make Bear Lake a regular vacation spot every year!

The Amazing Adventures of Kory and Charisse
Our first adventure we are going to share with you is our amazing day of babysitting! (I know, you are thinking, "Are they really going to blog about BABYSITTING!?" and my answer is yes, actually, we are.) Back in the day when Heather and Brian were having all of their buying a house troubles and the house that was supposed to work fell through, we were called to come to the rescue. Luckily, Kory had that day off of work. When Heather warned it would be an all day adventure we really started worrying. We can only play Barbies and tag so long before we are about to go crazy so we started thinking of some fun things we could do with them all day. Our lack of creative minds led us to think of...the park. We knew we were doomed! Then Heather called with some wonderful ideas and the adventure began!
Meg and Adin arrived and immediately began playing tag and hide and seek around the house. Within an hour Kory was extremely worn out so we made a fabulous lunch of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese!!! We had to bribe Meg with promises of a movie and telling her twice to eat ten BIG girl bites, and of course the macaroni was not good enough for Adin so he ended up eating a peach yogurt. After eating lunch we strapped the kids into the car (that alone took a half hour out of our day!) and headed to the dollar theater to watch Horton Hears a Who. The movie
was very bright and exciting and lucky for us it also played during Adins nap time so he slept the entire movie long. After half the popcorn was in Meg's stomach and the other half on the floor we
headed out of the movie for more wonderful adventures. After changing into swimsuits and running a few errands Kory and I had to get done we headed to the Gateway Mall to play in the spraying sidewalks. Both Meg and Adin were very apprehensive about playing on a sidewalk that sporatically
sprayed them. After seeing them spray a few times and with Kory out running through them Meg was all gun-ho about the idea. Adin, on the other hand, felt the need to explore by putting his face right up to one of the circles on the sidewalk until he was sprayed right in the face. Needless to say, it took awhile to get him out there again and would eventually only go if Kory went with him. This was sadly the end of our adventures for the day. Heather and Brian were able to find a house and get back earlier than planned. Our all day adventure ended up only being about 7 hours, but for two "newlyweds" that suddenly inherited two kids for a day it was enough to wear us out!

We also took a trip to Idaho to see Kory's sister Kami's new house and although we brought the camera we only remembered to take one picture! Since it is so cute I could not resist putting it on! We had a great time in Idaho and came back just a tad better at guitar hero then we were before! (If you can bring yourself to believe that!)

Okay, okay, hopefully Kory and I are back in the blogging world. Ever since we moved into our apartment, being the cheapskates that we are, we have been getting our internet off of a business in one corner of our apartment. Then suddenly a few weeks ago the internet stopped working!! It was disastrous! However, now, after much persuasion, we have received the password for the internet from a neighbor.
Another high point in our lives right now is the purchase of a new camera.
As you all know our camera broke at Disneyland-not a good time for a camera to eat the dust! Finally after weeks of reading about cameras and going to oh so many stores with cameras in them Kory decided he felt secure enough to buy one we had been looking at. So now you can all look at pictures from our lives too.One last exciting thing in our lives right now is...our new scooter!
This investment has been great on gas prices with our 80 miles to the gallon we rarely have to fill up and when we do it has been very cheap although Kory was very upset yesterday when it cost him $5 to fill up. This has been fun for both of us to go for rides on. Now our only concern is what to do in the winter...

We had a competition of who could win the kis over more by the end and I think Meg is now my new best friend, but Kory definitely won over Adin!
Kory was most blown away by how things worked. I kept telling him to just relax and enjoy it rather than think about how it worked the whole time but that is just how Kory is. He was especially amazed at Pirates of the Caribbean and the Fantasmic show they put on on weekend nights. Over all I would say our favorite rides were for Kory: Hollywood Tower of Terror, California Screamin', and Splash Mountain. For me it would have to be Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain.
Our day at the beach was a lot of fun as well. First, we went to the Farmers Market which is always cool to see all of different cultures in one place. We also visited the coolest bathroom there, the lady would open the door for you, clean the toilet as soon as you left the stall, and she had perfume and lotions out for you to use after washing your hands. I guess the guys was the same because Kory came out and said that was the most ridiculous bathroom he had ever been in. Then we drove to Hollywood to get our pictures with Doris Day's and Rock Hudsons hand prints but of course there was a movie premier going on and they dared to lay the red carpet right over my precious block of cement.
The beach was of course fun as always. It was quite cold but enjoyable all the same. Kory decided to bury me from the knees down. It was Heathers idea so we could see if Kory still felt attracted to me that much shorter. Of course he did!
Our days at Disneyland was of course the highlight of the trip and we definitely want to go again. To anyone reading this that hasn't gone GO!!!! And when you do invite me and Kory to come!!!!

Hairdressing!! He is quite creative in
doing my hair and i must say that I don't mind because I love when people play with my hair.
A couple weeks ago we went home to Kory's house, it is always a lot of fun to go up there, and it is extremely relaxing to get away. The most exciting part of the trip s Kory taught me how to drive a motorcycle. He took me out for an hour and just told me to follow him. I feel a lot more comfortable on it now and only fell off once!!! To top off the experience I was even given a battle scar! The only sad part is this isn't even proof of my fall but something I got when trying to start the bike.
As you can see our lives are truly riveting. As far as recently Charisse has finally finished her externship and will start getting paid this week!!!! YEAH!!! Kory just got a new boss at work that was working out really well for 2 weeks and then they just transferred a different boss in so now he gets to meet a new one tomorrow and hopefully this one will be just as good.
As most of you know Kory and I went to Disneyland this week but our camera broke halfway through and we have to wait just a couple days to get all of our pictures so when we do we will give you an amazing update of our glorious trip!!! Everybody please have a wonderful week and vote for David Archuletta!!!!!!
